Widely used Uncinatum truffles are known and appreciated around the world. The fruit is known as the "Tuber Uncinatum vitt", the most widespread variety, including in Central Europe, Turkey and the UK; it can be harvested from September to December. Treats in symbiosis with: oak, hornbeam, hazelnut, beech, lime in sandy clay soils. It has an irregular round shape of brownish brown on the outside and in the interior of brownish brown with white-gray ribs. It is 1 to 10 cm below ground in some cases even deeper. Their size of growth can reach the size of a mar. The Uncinatum is excellent when it is fully baked has a specific smell and pleasant flavor of hazelnuts and cooked corn.
